Funding Your Care

There are several ways care can be funded. Our team can help you understand the options available and signpost you to the right support.

Local Authority Funding

If you have been assessed as needing care by your local council, you may be eligible for part or full funding through a social care assessment. We work with all West Yorkshire local authorities.

NHS Continuing Healthcare

Individuals with a primary health need may qualify for fully funded NHS Continuing Healthcare. Our team can support you in navigating the assessment process.

Direct Payments

If you have a personal budget from your local authority, you can use Direct Payments to purchase care from Kind Care Solutions, giving you full control over your support.

Self-Funded / Private Care

Many clients choose to arrange and pay for their own care privately. We offer competitive, transparent rates with no hidden charges and flexible packages.

How quickly can care be arranged?

In many cases we can begin care within 24–48 hours of an initial assessment. We understand that care needs can arise quickly and we do everything possible to respond promptly.

Will my loved one always have the same carer?

We do everything possible to ensure consistency of care. We match individuals with a small team of familiar carers who understand their preferences, routines and personality.

Are your carers trained and checked?

Absolutely. Every carer holds an enhanced DBS certificate, has completed the Care Certificate and undergoes specialist training relevant to the needs of the individual they support. Training is refreshed regularly.

Can care plans be changed as needs evolve?

Yes. We carry out regular reviews and can adjust the care plan at any time to reflect changes in health, preferences or circumstances. We never lock you into a rigid package.
